The Association of Meat Importers and Exporters of Namibia (AMIE) was established in 2012 in Windhoek, Namibia. The Association was created in order to be a mouthpiece for meat and poultry exporters and importers of Namibia. It was established as an organization that will protect the interests of the members and support and grow the local trade industry of Namibia. Since its inception, the association has been seated in Windhoek, Namibia.
The Association does not trade nor participate in any business undertakings carried on by any of its members. AMIE provides regular and valuable statistical data to members, as well as a continuous flow of vital and important information. AMIE does not partake in commercial transactions, the Association is only there to assist members with information, and communication with government departments; officials; agencies and industry stakeholders.
